#wewriwa #8sunday

It’s blog hop time. Visit www.wewriwa.com where authors get together and share 8 sentences from a current work or a published book. It’s awesome time to get sneak peeks and to offer words of encouragement. Without further ado, you will find my 8 based on a current WIP. Last week my heroine held a gun to the hero’s head and caught him off guard. Enjoy!

“You’ll have to tell me where I’m going.” A reasonable tone should calm some of her nerves. He hoped.

A loud sniffle met his words. “Give me a second.” The gun didn’t waver. Seconds ticked into minutes.

His patience didn’t have minutes.

Very tense moment. I went back and reread last week’s. Both are well written, gives the right vibe for both characters. I love that he’s so calm, but not really. Well done!

Yes, he’s been more patient that I could ever be! Very interesting story, can’t wait to learn more about the person holding the gun. Great snippet!

Love how he’s got the gun to his head, but he’s the one trying to be patient. Of course, he seems confident he can get it away from her…
