Vacation

Well, the family just came back from vacation and I feel like I need a vacation from the vacation. LOL. I won’t go into too much detail about the flight but the plane did get struck by lightning. Or rather the rods did 🙁 This meant we landed and waited, and waited…and yep waited some more. The kids did great and despite the fact that the next airport where we were headed shut down due to storms, everyone stayed upbeat. Spent an entire day traveling and lost out on doing anything vacation wise. C’est la vie! As my French friends say. On a positive, the kids were thrilled about being in Disney for one of the awesome Star Wars weekends. The characters were out and all over the park. Cosplay was in full effect and I thought my lovely husband would pass out when Darth Vader walked by. ROFL. Did I mention he had like 20 shots of DV on his cellphone? All in all, fun was had, much funnel cake was eaten and I walked away with great pics. See below.

If you’re a Star Wars fan, you’ll recognize Cody and Rex. My middle kiddie couldn’t stop jumping in line when he saw those two come out for pictures. 🙂
