International Author’s Day

Happy Friday and Happy International Author’s Day. Thanks to Debdatta http://www.b00kr3vi3ws.in/ for organizing such a great day of recognition for those that have provided hours of reading pleasure. My blog today is to talk about my favorite romances by authors I love. I have so many but spotlighted a few 🙂 I had to control the urge to just keep going and going. LOL

Judith McNaught. She is without a doubt one of the few authors that can make me cry and laugh during the journey of love between the heroine and hero. Despite reading her books hundreds of times, the romance is timeless and still draws an emotional reaction from me.

Julie Garwood. Every hero in her historical novels makes you believe that 17th or 18th century Scotland was a walk in the park.

-The Bride

Karen Marie Moning. When Moning wrote her Highlander series, I thought I’d discovered heaven in paper. Dageus was my first experience with a tortured hero that was Alpha, cold and yet so easy to fall in love with.

-The Dark Highlander

I also threw in some new authors as my taste have grown and changed through the years.

Joey W. Hill-Erotic bite. Wonderful romance stories of D/S lifestyle

Kristen Ashley-contemporary, paranormal. Not sure where The Golden Dynasty falls but love that book!

Nalini Singh-paranormal. Psy/Changeling and Guild Hunter series.
