#8Sunday More Arak

March is moving along briskly and I’m ready for spring break more than the kids. LOL. Welcome to another wewriwa where authors share snippets of their latest projects or a current release. If you want to follow along and add to your TBR like I do click here www.wewriwa.com. I’m sharing another 8 from my WIP Arak’s Love, book 2 in A World Beyond and the cover. I’m picking up where I left off last week when Arak burst into a room holding two women in a Marenian facility. Thanks for stopping by. 🙂

“We’re fine and can rescue ourselves, Mr. Jutak.” The one with the knives made the declaration as she tossed stringy hair over her shoulders, its color indiscernible.

Arak pushed back the hooded mask he wore, hoping that seeing his face would ease them a little. “I’m a Jutak warrior. Jutak’s not my name. Are either of you Lindsey Ferra?”

“No,” the knife wielder snapped before turning to her friend. “Let’s go Sylvie, we don’t need him.”

Well there’s my 8 and below is the cover for Arak’s story which I have titled Arak’s Love.

I’m guessing they could use his help. They just shouldn’t dismiss him so quickly.

Very interesting. I like that they’re attempting to take action on their own–but also like that he’s come to rescue them. Looking forward to seeing what happens next.

I like her confidence but I’d say any help in a situation like that should be welcome. Makes me wonder about her back story and why she’d reject it so quickly. Great snippet.

That character has a lot of sass Alexis. Both ladies are eager to get away

I love how she called him Mr Jutak! lol. I agree with every comment. makes me wonder why they’d so quickly turn down the help. Great tension building, too. 🙂

I like women who rescue themselves. But who could turn down Arak?

Well, doesn’t sound like she wants any help whatsoever…which is suspicious;). Great 8!
