New Secret Project- announcement

I’m thrilled to announce and do a cover reveal for an upcoming project I have in the fall.

The creative minds of today’s leading SFR authors (including me) have joined forces to bring readers 12 amazing, never before released original Science Fiction Romance stories all in one place – Embrace the Romance: Pets in Space 2! Coming October 10, 2017.

I’m a huge dog lover and 10% of the first months profits go to Hero-Dogs.org. Hero Dogs raises and trains service dogs and places them free of charge with US Veterans to improve quality of life and restore independence.

That’s all I needed to know to get involved. As it gets closer to the date, I’ll have blurbs and more details on all the authors and their stories so you’ll get nice peeks into this upcoming anthology 🙂

#amwriting

I rarely blog on the weekend but I’ve been trying to minimize my time on social media to get things done and finished. I’ve got auto post on FB, twitter and Instagram going and still feel like I don’t have enough time. I feel like I need a clone. Oooh, story idea. LOL. The audio system keeps saying Kyele’s Passion should be released on all retailers any day. As soon as I know, I’ll post it everywhere.

Well, wish me luck on getting Rydak done and ready for preorder. Here’s a weekend tidbit

Rydak’s Fall-coming soon

Meet the man behind the Jutak warrior.

Rydak knew he’d never have a Chosen. His empathic touch blessed and cursed him with the ability to read and sense the emotions of everyone he came in contact with. Until her. Lissi Alonson, sister to the Unit Leader of the Jutak warriors he respected and a woman he’d be a fool to fall for.

For years, Lissi had a crush on the elite soldier in her brother’s Unit but the proud Jutak ignored her every attempt to get his attention. Then one night changes everything and he’ll defy his personal rules to spend his life with her by his side.

 How far will Rydak fall?

She stretched a hand toward him. “We can be friends, Rydak. If that’s all you have to give, I’ll be your friend.”

Head lowered, Rydak bit back a laugh. She sounded beyond sincere. He wanted way more than friendship. He wanted what he couldn’t have. And he wanted what everyone took for damned granted.

Rydak stroked her cheek one last time, black gloves to flushed skin. Warm and blood woman. He hated that she thought she needed to plead for something he would have died to give her. “You will make a beautiful Chosen one day.”

What’s Going on you ask?

Writing! I can confirm I’m almost done Rydak. I know I keep saying that but it’s true. LOL. I had a snafu on Kyele’s audio which delayed it but that’s coming too. I’m hoping to have a preorder link for you on Rydak’s Fall some time next week. My laoptop started sizzling and smoking the other day so I’ve been trying to save photos, files and other important things.

This weekend will be busy putting finishing touches on some things as well as working on two projects I will be able to talk about in a few months. In the meantime, have a little Friday treat 🙂

Edited to add: stupid laptop forgot the clip. Learning curve. ARGH!

“Every touch, every kiss will be with you long after this night. When I touch you the memory will not fade. I won’t let it.”

He breathed out a choked snarl. “You think we can be together?”

She refused to let him intimidate her. “Yes. And I have enough faith for both of us”

Silence reined neither saying anything more. Lissi knew the moment she won and her heart almost burst free form her chest when he next spoke.

“You’ve chased and chased, Lissi Alonson. Now that you have caught me, what are you going to do?”

The look he directed her way made Lissi’s knees trembled. Her fingers twitched with the desire to touch the flowing blond hair about his shoulders but she held on to her composure.

“I’m going to keep you, Rydak.”

Coming soon

Here’s a little peek at my Current project-Rydak’s Fall

Just thought I’d drop a little something here to share. LOL. Excuse any errors as this is a rough. Have a great weekend.

Rydak’s Fall

“You should do that more.”

Lost, Rydak blinked in the darkness, shadows shifting about in a thin stream of light provided by a crack between the crevices. “Do what more?”

“Laugh. Occasionally you smile but you hardly ever laugh.”

There wasn’t much left in his life to laugh over. He had one living family member left and the Unit. That was it. They were his family. His brethren. And not once had any of those men ever let him down.

Those on Team Three comprised the strongest and most powerful of any other Jutak team on active status. They received more calls than Team One or Team Two and more often than not took the most dangerous missions when they were sent out.

Not that Rydak minded. He’d become a Jutak to serve and to put his inborn skills to use. It gave him purpose and some measure of satisfaction to use it for the good of his people. Rydak needed the Jutaks as much as they needed him. Otherwise his life would have been spent regretting his differences a long time ago.

Unwilling to travel that path, Rydak redirected the conversation. “What are the odds I receive the blame for this.”

None of then would ever blame one another but his question caused Jahul to burst into a robust laugh which ended on a wheeze. Rydak braced an arm around his friend’s shoulder.

“I will see to it they all know you were slow, Jaard and I had to turn back for you.”

Leaning his head against the wall behind him to wait, Rydak grinned.
