So, now that my French and Italian version of Secret Fire are out (WOOT!) I’m proof reading the 40% I have written of At Night’s Fall to make sure the story is going the way I want. Here is a small peek for those who like that sort of thing. LOL.

Aliya knew that voice. She opened her eyes and stared into a navy blue gaze, smooth tentacles hanging over his bare shoulders. This close she couldn’t help but notice his features were so alien.
Compared to human men, his appearance was drastically different yet no less compelling. Their prior meeting had left an impression on Aliya but she wasn’t sure if it was good or bad despite the unexpected sex dream she’d had about him. “Took you long enough.”
Amusement glinted, his thin lips curved up at the corners then the humor faded to be replaced with a grim look. “Thank you.”
