Fan girl squeal all the way. I just received notification that my submission for the 22nd Annual Duel on the Delta contest was the final round WINNER in the Paranormal category. I am beyond excited and pleased in a way I can’t even put into words. The entire process was so smooth and easy despite my nerves about participating in a writing contest for the first time ever. This gives me more motivation than ever to continue with this dream of mine. I’m past the half way mark and my WIP will hopefully be done soon.
The closer I get to my goal, the more real this feels. I’ve even outlined subsequent books for a potential series. Mighty ambitious of me but I’m riding a high right now.
