WeWriWa-#8sunday
It’s that time again. Once a week a wonderful group of writers get together and share 8 lines from a work-in-progress or completed novel. The snippet can be sexy, teasing or mysterious. The only catch is that you can’t go over 8 sentences. Below I’m including a bit from my paranormal work in progress about wolf shifters. Callie and Dane recognize one another from a flirtation a year ago.
Callie felt a silly grin spread across her face. “You mentioned a reward if I gave you my name. Considering we know each other and all, I think you’d keep your promises this time around.”
Then he surprised her. “I kept my promise, sweetheart.” He moved closer, invading her space. So close, Callie could feel the heat emanating from his body. “You just never called back.”
Now check out what everyone else did at www.wewriwa.com. And be sure to leave a comment. Ready, set, go!
I didn’t expect him to say that last line! So realistic, yet it makes me wonder what she’ll say next. Great 8!
Perfect Frank. That’s what I was aiming for

Hmm, so maybe they both dropped the ball… or maybe they miscommunicated? Either way, they need to make up for lost time. 😉
Nice guess Caitlin and very true
Love means you never have to say you’re sorry. So said a movie way back and made fame and fortune. Not true, of course. They’ll work it out in today’s HEA. Good eight, Michelle.
Thx Charmaine and for the life of me I can’t recall the movie but heard the quote a gazillion times

Wow, immediate sexual tension – makes me wonder if the gratification will be as immediate. Nice.
Sexy tension, and I love that she was the one who didn’t call back. Great 8! 😀
