Over the last two weeks the weather has taken an odd turn. At least for the mid-atlantic state where I live. We’ve had repeated thunderstorms and wicked lightning. The sky has turned yellow, orange and dark shades of violet. When I say its frightening, I can’t come close to putting into words how it has been. Following these crazy storms have been tornado warnings, wild winds and torrential downpours. I’m starting to wonder if 2014 is the year of freak weather phenom. First, the frigid winter with coldest temps in history and now tornados. One can only assume we have more in store for the rest of the summer and going into the Fall.
I just hope we avoid the numerous power outages of last year 🙁
