New Project and throwback

I have hunkered down to focus on a new project that recently sparked my interest. I’m thinking of a short series unless I really fall into the world and don’t want to stop. LOL. I can’t talk too much about it yet, because I’m in the early stages but I hope to share a cover and blurb in May with my newsletter subscribers. If you haven’t signed up, do so for the secret exclusive excerpts I share.

In the meantime, it looks like I’ve written my 35th book and hit my 9 year blogaversary for starting my writing career. *gasp* LOL. So I’m going to share snips of all my past books in no particular order as I revisit this journey. 🙂

To all my old readers from the beginning and all the new ones along the way, THANK YOU! I couldn’t have done it without you.

Mating Urge is a smoking hot story about a cat shifter who goes into heat and finds a stowaway in his rooms aboard the ship he works. Fireworks obviously ensue. LOL. What’s cool about this book is that it features the first appearance of my Jutak warriors which would go on to launch the A World Beyond series. Available at all retailers in ebook, print and audio.

Snippet

“T-that’s personal. I mean confidential.”

The pink slashes on her cheeks only served to enhance her feminine beauty. Human, not Argoran but attractive to him nonetheless. Aran adored all women. Perhaps she wasn’t a career criminal but she was absolutely a stowaway.

“Hmmm.” He hoped to allay her suspicion. Aran kneeled when he spotted his pants and withdrew his portable comm from the pocket.

“What are you doing?”

She stepped in his direction, bringing the alluring scent of peaches and her wet crème.

Spikes of desire tore through his abdomen and he fell forward barely getting one arm out to catch his weight before he hit the floor. “Stay back!”

If she didn’t, he’d be all over her again. As it was it took all of his concentration to keep from taking her in his arms and laying her in his bed while he sated his lust for the darker parts of his mating urge.

“Are you okay?”

Aran flinched when her hand touched his back lightly. He let loose a wry chuckle as moisture beaded his upper lip from the strain of holding back. “You don’t listen well do you, Ellie?”

“Not if someone needs help.”

Her answer had a sharp snap to it.
