It’s nano month which is when individuals try to write a complete 50k novel in the 30 days of the month. I’ve done this for years and enjoy it. Sometimes I win and sometimes I lose. LOL. I always end up with a workable novel though.
For my day 4 totals, I managed 7473 words. Not counting today of course. Pretty good since I actually forgot it was nano until an author friend posted a reminder on the first. I spent a lot of time googling some details for background on my characters. Half the fun for me is doing something and not worrying about reader reaction. It is the one time where I tell myself to just throw it all on the page.
